Clear Difference

I use whitening products all year round, but not all of them are the same. Shiseido offers White Lucency in Europe so I ordered White Lucent from sasa.com, just to be sure that I'm getting something made for the Asian market.
The bottle is very handy and the volume is generous, but I don't find it particularly effective except being moisturising and refreshing for summer.

Once in a while, my brother goes to Japan for work. Last time he went, I asked him to get this Shu Uemura WR EX whitening lotion for me. I wonder if Shu Uemura products sold in Japan have a different formula from those sold in other countries?
I like this product a lot more because it makes my skin very soft and very fresh. Upon application, it's absorbed immediately. So I don't have to wait long before following up with an SPF product and powder.

Do you use whitening products? Which ones?

Just wondering if you find it the Shisei White Lucent potent enough to whiten and brighten you skin??

I have lancome Blanc Expert NeuroWhite Spot Eraser, bought that for a white, decided to give it a go again.

I also use my Sofina Beaute Milk SPF 50 + PA +++ I'm thinking of getting more of that kind of stuff when I goto Japan.. i want to try and lightening my freckles! lol.

Btw i like your new layout!

nic: hey there! i like my new layout too, lol. i've used the shiseido white lucent toner for months & did not see a bit of difference lol! lemme know how the lancome product works out. I've been using La Roche Posay's SPF Mela-D product, which is supposed to help even out skin tone, lighten up freckles and have SPF all at one go. again, no real different after 4-5 months of use...

Yes! I also use brightening products all the time. I have tried a bunch, Dior, Shiseido, Chanel, just to name a few. I found that Dior works quite well for me, but now that I'm more into all natural skincare, I use Caudalie, Skyn Iceland and Korres, which are all non-Asian brands... works quite well anyway.

However, I think it's just the creme de La Mer that does EVERYTHING for my skin, hehehe.

sukkimi: hi, FANCL should be really good for your skin cos it has no preservatives. i guess even if it takes longer to whiten, it's worth waiting rite?

ms.2be: hi! i have some more shiseido products that don't work - luckily they were just hand-me-downs so i did't actually spend anything on them. lol!

Lovely blog ...

I find that the White Lucent Concentrated Brightening Serum works much better than what I assume is the non-concentrated type.

I don't know if you've tried it?? I know this blog is from quite a while ago.

I still use the Concentrated Brightening Serum; I've tried the Qiora whitening serum and also a serum by Isa Knox, but I like the Shiseido best.

Maybe I'll see that you've already posted something about it when I get into later months!
