I've been using
Shu Uemura's cream concealer for a year now. It's a good product: buildable, blendable, stays put all day and the colour brightens the eye area. But with its one-year life span almost up, I'm eager to look for other options.
I'm looking for a concealer for summer that I can just apply over an SPF base, followed by loose powder. No foundation.
After some research, I thought I'd give La Prairie a try. I stopped by their counter and the consultant recommended this concealer.
It's exceptionally light, silky and luminous. With texture like a liquid foundation, it blends easily with low-medium coverage. This concealer doubles as a brightening eye treatment!

is the la prarie worth the price difference though?
hi hi! i just saw your comment on alienman's blog about flies humming around on your page. so i thought i'd swing by and swap some away! ;)
incandescent: i forgot to mention that the concealer packaging includes a total 2 tubes of product so it's worth it. i'm not using foundation these days so i was looking for an excellent concealer that i can just use before puffing on loose powder.
starlit: haha, thanks so much, do visit me once in a while! we need help batting flies here!
Ooh... I'm big on concealers. Being able to wear just that and no foundation is so liberating. So, it's pretty important to me to be able to find a good product. Once I'm done with my Lancome I'll look into the Shu and La Prairie.
fei: i've been using La Prairie's concealer the past few days & i'm VERY happy with it (given how picky i am). the coverage is low-medium. i notice my under-eye area's looking healthier, amazing! it's also perfect with loose powder. the shu concealer's coverage is medium-full. it's very creamy & substantial.
la prarie so expensive, cheaper in Italy?
i checked out the price on the USA and european site: same. the packaging comes with 2 tubes of product. with the quality of the concealer (REALLY outstanding), it's good value.
ive checked out the prices, it's pretty reasonable! omg you got me lemming over it.... (just when im trying to cut down lol)
nic nic: haha, it's better to get a real quality product & stick with it though, i think. if there's a la prairie counter near u, do stop by & give it a try!
