really? it's ALL gone from your left eye? That's strange... sometimes I find that my fluidline has faded a bit but actually disappearing is a new one. Never heard that before...
I use fluidline everyday and have never had that problem. I do notice that sometimes when my eyes gets watery from dust or what not, it does tend to come off though.
that's weird! i haven't personally used mac fluidline (i use other similar products) but there it shouldn't have gone away just like that! & no, never heard of people putting a primer prior. strange...
Did you apply it to top or bottom or both? I find it smudges a lot more on my bottom. Fluidline stays pretty well on me but the top does still fade and smudge a teeny bit (w/out primer). Try it with primer just as an experiment!
Maybe you need a primer, have you tried the one from benefits? I use mac fluidline all the time and it stays on the whole day. The stila smudge pots might work better for you, you should give that a try. Mac and Stila are the only liners I can use cuz I have very greasy skin and everything seems to just fade or smudge on me.
Im pretty much tired of liners than smudge, thats why i dont really use liners these days. Do try a primer and see how it goes! Maybe try to set it with a dark powder, I heard that works. Blot the eye area with powder? My eye lids gets oily, so i know it will most definitely smudge >_<

ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl, I find that all MAC liners go on and stay on better with a primer like UDPP.

ReplyDeleteYou could also try Bobbi Brown gel liners...they stay put without a primer.
ReplyDeleteI never tried MAC Fluidline b4. I'm using KATE gel liner and it don't fade, but sometimes a bit smudges...
